DESCRIPTION:El Refugio\, in collaboration with Central Carolina Community College and Lee County Arts Council\, will be showcasing the cultures of over 25 different countries. Each country will be represented by an exhibit that displays various aspects of its culture such as art and crafts\, games\, history\, traditional dress and music. Some may also provide hands on educational activities for children and adults. There will be ample opportunities to ask questions as you tour the room and interact with the exhibitors. \n\n \n\nChef Hamm and students from Central Carolina Community College will be providing international cuisine. An ensemble from the Lee County Community Orchestra will perform.\n\n\n\nThe goals of the International Culture Night are to provide opportunities for interaction between people that encourage positive relationships based on sharing knowledge\, hopes and experiences\, and to foster individual growth by recognizing others' needs and talents.
