DESCRIPTION:The State of Lee County will be presented by:\n\n\n\n-Amy Dalrymple\, County Commissioner Chair\n\n-John Crumpton\, County Manager\n\n \n\nThe State of the County is an annual report produced to highlight the major initiatives and financial health of Lee County Government. The presentation includes a recent demographic profile of the county\; updates on Plan SanLee the partnership with Lee County Government (LCG)\, City of Sanford and Town of Broadway to create a land use development plan\; an overview of LCG education investments both in K12 and a status of LCG Parks & Recreation projects\; the status of major regional partnerships\; and the work of LCG in continuing to address the opioid crisis.\n\n \n\nThe luncheon will begin at 11:45 am at The Flame Steakhouse. Tickets for this event are on a first come\, first serve basis and can be purchased online or by calling the office at 919.775.7341. Tickets are $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Non-Chamber Members.
