DESCRIPTION:The Sanford Area Growth Alliance is excited to announce the upcoming Chamber of Commerce's Public Policy Luncheon. The topic this month is Workforce Ready Communities: Creating Economic Success. \n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Andy Bryan and Gary Hart\, from the Lee County School system\, will be presenting the Work Ready Community Certification program. The presentation will include the economic development impact of being a work ready certified community. A work ready community starts in elementary school. Therefore\, Jimmy Hite\, the architect of the proposed new elementary school\, will also be presenting.\n\n\n\nThe luncheon will begin at 11:45 am at The Flame Steakhouse. Tickets for this event are on a first come\, first serve basis and can be purchased online or by calling the office at 919.775.7341. Tickets are $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Non-Chamber Members.
