Description

Election Impacts: Next Steps regarding the Multi-Sports Complex, and Economic Impacts

County Manager Dr. John Crumpton will provide a high- level overview of the Lee County Parks and Recreation Bond that passed, and the information we need to know about what has to happen next to move the project forward.

Susan Keller, the bond referendum co-chair, will comment on the part the Lee Grow Play Succeed committee can play as being a liaison between the public and the sports complex project.  It is important to know that the public will have a voice in recommendations and planning through the upcoming revamping of the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan.

Zeke Kelly, Financial Advisor for Principal Financial, will discuss the election impacts on the economy at the micro and macro level, to include business and market reactions to the election, and anticipated new policies. In other words … how does it affect me, my community, and my checkbook?

Attendees will also receive a rundown of the newly elected Lee County Commissioners and Lee County Board of Education members.
