The State of Lee County will be presented by:
-Amy Dalrymple, County Commissioner Chair
-John Crumpton, County Manager
The State of the County is an annual report produced to highlight the major initiatives and financial health of Lee County Government. The presentation includes a recent demographic profile of the county; updates on Plan SanLee – the partnership with Lee County Government (LCG), City of Sanford and Town of Broadway to create a land use development plan; an overview of LCG education investments both in K12 and a status of LCG Parks & Recreation projects; the status of major regional partnerships; and the work of LCG in continuing to address the opioid crisis.
The luncheon will begin at 11:45 am at The Flame Steakhouse. Tickets for this event are on a first come, first serve basis and can be purchased online or by calling the office at 919.775.7341. Tickets are $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Non-Chamber Members.
