Sanford Coca-Cola Bottling Company, refreshing the Sanford area since 1905, will be acquired by Durham Coca-Cola Bottling Company effective August 26, 2017, continuing to operate as Sanford Coca-Cola, a division of Durham Coca-Cola.
Durham Coca-Cola Bottling Company is a privately held, third generation, family-owned Coca-Cola distribution company under the direction of M. Hager Rand, Chairman and President. The Rand Family and the previous owner of Sanford Coca-Cola, Charles Ingram, are long-time friends and have served jointly on numerous Coca-Cola boards throughout the years.
Both families are delighted with the announcement and look forward to refreshing the community for the next 100 years.
